About this Product

The Cocochoco Silver Touch Anti-Yellow collection is a blonde conditioner designed to target unwanted yellow tones in coloured blonde, platinum, white & grey hair. When hair is lightened, the natural colour is removed to accommodate the new colour. However, over time, the underlying natural hair colour will start to show through, sometimes producing undesired brassy or yellow tones. Cocochoco Anti Yellow Conditioner is an amazing blonde conditioner, as it is enriched with targeted pigments which help to remove these unwanted yellow tones, while leaving the hair with a natural sparkle, shine and vibrancy. Our shampoo is one of the only blonde conditioners that are free of harmful sulphates, making it the ideal conditioner for blondes.

If you have coloured blonde hair, the last thing you want is for your hair to go brassy and yellow. Unfortunately, it's very common for colour-treated hair to change tone, especially through exposure to the sun, environmental pollutants and other factors.

That is why the Cocochoco anti-yellow range, in addition to offering the latest in anti-yellow pigment targeting technology, also contains enriched natural ingredients to protect against UV radiation and photo oxidation - two leading contributors to unwanted yellow tones.

How to Apply the Product?

We have written instructions to make sure you get the most out of our products.

Instructions

Wet your hair with warm water. The temperature helps to expand your hair shafts, allowing them to better absorb the anti-yellow shampoo.
Apply the shampoo to your hair from root to tip. Massage the shampoo in gently as you work the shampoo through your hair, lathering it in as you go. Pay special attention to brassy or yellowed strands.
If you have a naturally blonde or a warm, mildly brassy blonde hair colour, let the shampoo sit for about 3-4 minutes. Leave for 15 minutes on brassy or colour-treater hair. Leave for 30 minutes on grey, silver or platinum hair.
After that time has passed, rinse your hair out with cool water. Since your roots have a lower porosity than your ends, they will need more time to absorb the shampoo and as such, the shampoo will need to be applied there first.
If you have never used purple shampoo before, try leaving it in for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. If you notice little or no difference in colour after drying your hair, try increasing the time to 10- 20 minutes for your next treatment.
Although individuals with darker hair may worry about draining their hair of colour, silver and platinum coloured hair benefits from leaving the shampoo in longer.
Condition your hair as you normally would with an anti- yellow conditioner to moisturise your hair. Purple conditioner will strengthen the tone’s intensity.
For better results, it is recommended to use anti-yellow shampoo and conditioner together.
